Job description
Would you like to develop modern software solutions, digitize business processes, and actively shape new technologies? Then become part of our newly established DevOps team. Together, we develop and operate innovative services and drive the automation of our business processes with Camunda 8.
An exciting environment awaits you, where you can contribute your technical skills, take responsibility, and actively help shape the development of a new team.
Main Tasks:
Responsibility for the new development and further development of our in-house developed services as well as their operation within the DevOps team
Introduction, targeted use, and sustainable establishment of Camunda 8 within the team, as well as support in competence building and upskilling of colleagues
Verification of developed solutions in accordance with internal and external security standards, as well as ensuring high software quality
Continuous improvement and further development of operational processes together with the team
Active participation in the conception, architecture, and further development of our services
Consulting the business unit regarding technical feasibility, solution variants, impacts, and requirements
Close collaboration with Product Owners, Business Engineers, and Architecture to develop optimal and sustainable solutions
Requirements:
Completed degree in Computer Science or equivalent qualification through professional experience
Several years of experience in software development, ideally in the banking sector
Practical experience within the last three years in Client Onboarding, digital product closings, or Client Lifecycle Management
In-depth knowledge of Camunda 8, particularly in process design and implementation
Very good knowledge of Java and Angular development, as well as Spring, JPA/Hibernate, Maven, and SQL (ideally PostgreSQL)
Knowledge of Kotlin as well as cloud and container technologies such as Kubernetes/AKS and Docker is an advantage
Experience with Git, IntelliJ IDEA, Jenkins, Sonar, and JIRA
Experience with agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban, as well as a strong DevOps mindset
Strong communication skills, flexibility, and team orientation
Solution-oriented and independent way of working, as well as the willingness to take responsibility
Enthusiasm for knowledge sharing and actively shaping a newly established DevOps team
General Framework Conditions:
Workload: 80%
Employment: from December 1, 2026, to October 31, 2028
Work location: On-site at the client's premises in Zurich
Good German and English skills are mandatory
