Application Developer

For an agile DevOps team, we are looking for an experienced software developer for the further development of modern core systems in the area of claims processing. Together with subject matter experts, you will develop solutions for outpatient claims processing, implement complex requirements with modern Java technologies, and actively contribute your experience in an agile environment.

Tasks

• Further development of modern Java-based core systems in the area of claims processing

• Development and implementation of rules for outpatient claims processing together with the specialist department

• Development of architecturally compliant solutions with Java, Angular, as well as event- and workflow-based architectures

• Participation in the DevOps team throughout the entire software lifecycle

• Application of modern engineering practices such as Clean Code, Clean Architecture, TDD, BDD, and DDD

• Active co-design of technical solutions and continuous improvement of software

Requirements

• Several years of experience in agile software development with modern Java technologies

• Experience with Java, Angular, Docker, Kubernetes, as well as event- and workflow-based architectures

• Sound knowledge in Clean Code, Clean Architecture, TDD, BDD, and DDD

• Quality-conscious, independent, and solution-oriented way of working

• Experience in DevOps and Scrum environments, as well as enjoyment in collaborating with specialist departments

• Experience in the health insurance environment, especially in claims processing, is an advantage

• Very good German language skills

General Framework Conditions

• Start: immediately

• Duration: Until the end of 2027 (option for extension)

• Workload: 80–100 %

• Work location: Lucerne

• Remote: 2–3 days per week at 100 % workload
