No pure mechanical robotics. No pure prompting.
Somewhat Applied AI + Embodied Intelligence: LLMs, VLMs, Speech, Computer Vision, and Robotics Stacks in functioning overall systems.

Tasks

• Development of speech-capable, multimodal KI systems (LLMs, VLMs, Speech-to-Text, Text-to-Speech)
• Integration of Large Language Models into robotic or physical systems
• Building perception pipelines (Computer Vision, camera inputs, possibly Depth/LiDAR)
• Linking language, perception, and action (Reasoning → Action)
• Orchestrating agent logic (Tool-Use, State Machines, Decision Logic)
• Bonding to Robotics Frameworks and control level (e.g. ROS or comparable)
• Prototyping → Production systems (no pure demos)
• Tight collaboration with software-, AI-, and product teams

Qualification

• Very good understanding of LLMs and their limitations
• Experience with multimodal models (Vision + Language)
• Practical knowledge in Speech Systems (ASR, TTS, Voice Pipelines)
• Solid Computer Vision understanding (Object Recognition, Scene Understanding, Tracking)
• Experience with Python (mandatory), ideally supplemented by C++ or Rust
• Basic understanding of Robotics concepts (Sensors, Actuators, Feedback Loops)
• Able to build KI not just
