Job Title: Applied AI Engineer (GenAI & Automation) Role Overview As a cornerstone of our multi-disciplinary AI Platform & Application Engineering team, you will serve as a primary architect of our organisational transformation. Your mission is the development of next-generation copilots and enterprise automation tools—the North Star of our current AI strategy. You will oversee the complete lifecycle of these solutions, from initial requirement analysis to final deployment, ensuring our AI initiative's success. This role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, software engineers, product managers, and stakeholders. Your responsibilities will include: • Designing, developing, testing, and deploying AI-powered applications and tools; • Collaborating with data scientists to integrate machine learning models into our solutions; • Developing and maintaining a deep understanding of AI technologies, including computer vision, natural language processing, and reinforcement learning; • Staying up-to-date with the latest advancements in AI research and development; • Mentoring junior engineers and providing guidance on best practices for AI engineering; • Participating in code reviews and ensuring adherence to coding standards; • Troubleshooting and debugging complex AI-related issues; • Developing and maintaining technical documentation, including user manuals and API documentation; • Collaborating with the DevOps team to ensure seamless integration of our AI solutions into production environments. You will be expected to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks based on business needs and collaborating with stakeholders to deliver high-quality results. Requirements: • 3-10 years of experience in AI engineering, software development, or a related field; • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; • Strong understanding of AI concepts, including machine learning, deep learning, and computer vision; • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, C++, or MATLAB; • Experience with AI frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Keras; • Familiarity with cloud-based platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud; • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; • Excellent communication and collaboration skills; • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks based on business needs.
