Application / System Engineer Pleno

**Introduction**

You will work in one of our Innovation Centers for Clients at IBM Consulting (Delivery Centers), where we offer deep technical and sectoral knowledge to a wide range of clients from the public and private sectors around the world. Our delivery centers provide our clients with local technical skills and knowledge to drive innovation and adoption of new technologies.

**Your role and responsibilities**

We are looking for a Fullstack Developer with experience in modernizing applications, cloud-native architecture, and implementing microservices. The professional will work on the evolution of legacy systems, API optimization, automation of CI/CD pipelines, and collaboration with architects to ensure scalable, secure, and aligned solutions.

Responsibilities

- Refactor and modernize legacy applications, migrating them to a cloud-native architecture;

- Develop and maintain microservices, REST APIs, GraphQL, and modern integration patterns;

- Execute code reviews, performance optimization, and best engineering practices;

- Collaborate with architects on the application of design patterns, security best practices, and API governance;

- Automate build and deploy in CI/CD pipelines, ensuring efficiency and repeatability;

- Ensure traceability and integrity of deliveries in complex environments;

- Apply AI techniques for prompt creation, assisting in automations, workflows, and diagnostics;

**Required technical and professional expertise**

Essential Requirements:

- Solid experience with Java 17 and Spring Boot;

- Development and integration of REST APIs and GraphQL;

- Knowledge of Angular for support and integration with back-end;

- Knowledge of Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes;

- Experience with GitHub Actions for CI/CD pipelines;

- Familiarity with Terraform and Helm for infrastructure as code (IaC);

- Proven experience with Kafka for asynchronous communication and events;

- Use of tools like Grafana and Prometheus for monitoring and metrics;

- Proven experience with AI, especially in prompt creation and use of assistive tools for automation;
