As a Senior Application Security Researcher, you will be responsible for identifying and mitigating security vulnerabilities in our clients' applications. You will conduct in-depth security assessments, perform penetration testing, and develop security recommendations. You will also contribute to the development of our security tools and methodologies, and mentor junior researchers. Responsibilities: * Conduct comprehensive security assessments of web, mobile, and desktop applications. * Perform penetration testing, vulnerability analysis, and exploit development. * Identify and document security vulnerabilities and provide remediation recommendations. * Research and stay up-to-date with the latest security threats, vulnerabilities, and attack vectors. * Develop and maintain security testing tools and frameworks. * Collaborate with development teams to ensure secure coding practices. * Mentor and guide junior security researchers. * Contribute to the development of security policies and procedures. * Prepare and present security assessment reports to clients. Qualifications: * Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field. * 5+ years of experience in application security, penetration testing, or vulnerability research. * Strong understanding of common web and mobile application vulnerabilities (e.g., OWASP Top 10). * Proficiency in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, C++, Go). * Experience with security testing tools (e.g., Burp Suite, OWASP ZAP, Metasploit). * Knowledge of secure coding principles and practices. * Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. * Strong communication and presentation skills. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Preferred Qualifications: * Relevant security certifications (e.g., OSCP, CEH, CISSP). * Experience with reverse engineering and binary analysis. * Familiarity with cloud security concepts. * Experience in threat modeling and security architecture review.
