Job description

Assurity Trusted Solutions (ATS) is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Government Technology Agency (GovTech). As a key member of the ATS team, the Application Security Engineer will play a critical role in ensuring the security and integrity of our customers' applications and systems. This will involve working closely with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate potential security risks, developing and implementing effective security controls and procedures, and providing expert-level guidance and support to customers on application security best practices. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in application security, with experience in areas such as secure coding practices, threat modeling, and vulnerability assessment. They will also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with customers and internal stakeholders. In addition, the candidate will have a strong understanding of industry-standard security frameworks and regulations, such as NIST, ISO 27001, and PCI-DSS. The Application Security Engineer will be responsible for developing and maintaining a comprehensive application security program that aligns with industry best practices and regulatory requirements. This will involve conducting regular security assessments and risk analyses, developing and implementing security controls and procedures, and providing expert-level guidance and support to customers on application security best practices. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in application security, with experience in areas such as secure coding practices, threat modeling, and vulnerability assessment. They will also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with customers and internal stakeholders.
