Application Packaging and Patching Management

Role: Application Packaging and Patching Management Location: Mexico City, Guadalajara, Monterrey & Queretaro Work Mode: Onsite Requirement: Tool Utilization Expected to leverage all packaging tools currently in use, including but not limited to: Admi Studio PowerShell App Deployment Toolkit (PSADT) Intune Win32 packaging Microsoft Endpoint Manager (SCCM/Intune) JAMF (for macOS/iOS) Recast (RightClick Tools) Core Responsibilities 1. Application Packaging Create and maintain standardized, enterprise-ready application packages for software deployment. Package applications following defined standards and best practices. 2. Patching Management Manage and maintain the patching process for applications and operating systems. Test and deploy software updates and patches to ensure system security and stability. 3. Scripting & Automation Develop and maintain scripts to automate packaging, deployment, and patching tasks. Automate recurring tasks to improve efficiency and reduce manual efforts. 4. Troubleshooting Troubleshoot application deployment and patching issues. Identify and resolve issues related to application compatibility, conflicts, and performance. 5. Documentation Create and maintain documentation for packaging, deployment, and patching processes. Document packaging configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps. 6. Collaboration Collaborate with IT teams to ensure application compatibility and successful deployment. Collaborate with application owners to gather requirements and understand application behavior. 7. Compliance Ensure compliance with security policies and industry best practices. Adhere to change management processes and maintain proper version control. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. Proven experience in application packaging and patching management. Proficiency in application packaging tools (e.g., Admi Studio). Strong scripting skills (e.g., PowerShell). Experience with Microsoft Endpoint Manager (SCCM/Intune) and/or JAMF. Knowledge of software deployment methodologies and best practices. Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Certifications: Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate, CompTIA A+, or similar are a plus.
