Application Owner (m/w/d) Data Warehouse

Full Time Entry Level

Job description

We are looking for an Application Owner (m/w/d) – Data Warehouse in the area of Frankfurt am Main.

The company is part of a leading German leasing and financial group and is responsible as a central service provider for modern IT and data platforms, as well as the reliable provision of core applications and reporting solutions.

As an Application Owner (m/w/d), you will take on a central role in the further development of the Data-Warehouse- and BI-Landscape and shape themes like Reporting, Automation, and modern data processes. The Data Warehouse (DWH) is thereby the heart for business-critical decisions.

Aufgaben

  • You will take on the professional responsibility for the stable operation and further development of the central Data-Warehouse- and ETL-Landscape.
  • You analyze data and process disruptions, accompany sustainable error corrections, and moderate ad-hoc solution rounds in operational operation.
  • You drive forward the strategy to internally strengthen technical knowledge on data storage and dashboard design (e.g. in Tableau) and reduce dependence on external service providers.
  • You are the central contact person for departments like Finance and Risk Management. You take on requirements, maintain the backlog, and prioritize implementation in a hybrid/agile working method.
  • You accompany cooperation with external service providers as well as internal stakeholders and support continuous optimization of the data platform.

Qualifikation

  • Basis: A study in (Economic) Informatics or a comparable IT qualification - lateral entry with solid work experience possible.
  • DWH-Expertise: You have experience with ETL processes, data models, and good knowledge of SQL. Ideally, you are familiar with tools like Tableau.
  • Methodik: You are confident in ITIL processes (Incident/Change Management) and have already worked in agile environments.
  • Sprache: As internal communication and documentation will increasingly be conducted in German, very good German language skills (at least B2, ideally C1) are required.
  • Persönlichkeit: You are willing to take responsibility, think service-oriented, and can represent the backlog against various stakeholders with sovereignty.

Benefits

  • Sicherheit & Rückhalt: Enjoy the stability of a strong financial group.
  • Gezielte Talentförderung: Shape your future with comprehensive further education and development opportunities within the group.
  • Flexibilität im Alltag: Find your perfect balance through our hybrid working model and modern, flexible work style.
  • Rundum abgesichert: Look forward to a strong pension scheme as well as attractive tariff and additional social benefits.
  • Exklusive Mehrwerte: Use the practical subsidy for public transportation and benefit from exclusive employee discounts throughout the network.
  • Erfolg, der sich auszahlt: In addition to a fair basic salary, your efforts will be rewarded with an attractive, variable remuneration.
  • Zeit für Erholung: Breathe deeply and recharge with 30 days of well-deserved leave per year.

Through direct cooperation with our partner, we guarantee you a swift and transparent application process and look forward to your application!

Your contact person is Anna-Lena Müller.

You can send us your documents quickly, data protection compliant, and confidentially.

We look forward to getting to know you!
