Application Manager

Job purpose As an Application Manager you will be working directly across multiple application teams to configure, deploy, test and support in-house written microservices/applications across our global environments. responsibilities will include: Preparing the configuration of microservices using git and YAML for later deployment into global edge-environments. Managing the deployment of new or changed versions of microservices into edge-environments. Working directly with various technologies (such as Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform) to ensure seamless integration and scalability. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize application enhancements and bug fixes. Developing and maintaining technical documentation for applications and services. Providing technical guidance and support to development teams on application architecture, design, and best practices. Troubleshooting and resolving complex issues related to application performance, security, and compliance. Staying up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously improve application management processes and tools. responsibilities will also include: Developing and maintaining a comprehensive understanding of the entire technology stack used by our applications. Collaborating with other teams to ensure alignment on technical standards, best practices, and tooling. Providing input on architecture and design decisions for new and existing applications. Participating in code reviews and ensuring adherence to coding standards. Staying current with industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously improve application management processes and tools. Developing and maintaining a comprehensive understanding of the entire technology stack used by our applications. Collaborating with other teams to ensure alignment on technical standards, best practices, and tooling. Providing input on architecture and design decisions for new and existing applications.
