Operating capital markets systems stably, developing them technically, and advancing digital solutions for Sales and Trading: In the Sales & eTrading Applications group, the connection between capital markets business, IT, regulation, and customer focus is created.

As part of the Capital Markets Platform, the team is responsible for the technical support of central applications for LBBW's customer-oriented capital markets business. The focus is on systems and processes for Sales and Trading, particularly in the area of FX Trading, eTrading, capital market products, and digital trading processes.

The Capital Markets Platform operates as a delivery organization in interdisciplinary clusters. Technical, analytical, and IT perspectives are closely integrated to create stable applications, efficient processes, and future-proof solutions for internal and external user groups.

Tasks:

  • Technical responsibility for a capital markets application with a focus on FX Trading, including products, processes, and system functionalities
  • Qualified application support for internal and external user groups, as well as central technical point of contact during ongoing operations
  • Participation in change initiatives, growth initiatives, process improvements, regulatory requirements, and operational maintenance measures
  • Management of technical requirements from prioritization and conception to production deployment
  • Maintenance and further development of application-related documentation to ensure transparency, traceability, and operational security
  • Active participation in production incidents through structured analysis, cross-team coordination, audience-appropriate communication, and solution orientation
  • Collaboration with IT, Sales, Trading, external service providers, vendors, as well as capital markets customers such as savings banks and corporates

Profile:

  • Completed degree in Business Administration, Business Informatics, Computer Science, or comparable qualification
  • Knowledge of the capital markets environment, FX Trading, eTrading, or strong interest in capital market products and trading processes
  • Experience in IT projects, application support, business analysis, process management, or capital markets-related functions
  • High IT affinity as well as analytical, structured, and solution-oriented working style
  • Strong service orientation, communication skills, and ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholder groups
  • Enjoyment of teamwork, knowledge sharing, and continuous technical development
  • Fluent German (C1) and good English (B2) skills for collaboration in an internationally oriented capital markets environment
