Application Engineer - HVAC Sector

LHH This is an interesting opportunity to join a global leader company, specialized in air conditioning and refrigeration solutions for industrial and HVAC sectors. Responsibilities The Application Engineer is a technical-commercial figure that supports the definition of custom project proposals (ETO), analyzing the technical-economic feasibility and coordinating the production of deliverables. Collaborates with the design and delivery team to ensure effective and customer-aligned solutions, actively participating also in Factory Acceptance Tests. Specifically, it will be responsible for: - Participating in prioritization and planning meetings for ETO proposals - Collaborating with the technical team to define effective and production-compatible project solutions - Supervising mechanical, electrical, and software design activities, involving necessary company departments Interfacing with suppliers to identify optimal and sustainable technical solutions from an economic point of view - Redacting technical-economic documentation in support of the project proposal - Defining costs and risk analysis for the project, proposing mitigation actions - Providing necessary information to company departments for product development execution Coordinating the development of executive deliverables, ensuring alignment with customer needs - Agreeing and managing FAT agendas in collaboration with the laboratory and customer - Actively participating in FATs to ensure technical conformity of the proposed solution Your Profile Applications from professionals possessing the following requirements will be evaluated: - Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Energy or Thermal Technology - 3-5 years of experience in HVAC companies - Knowledge of vapor compression cycle-based system design - Knowledge of main sector regulations (PED, Machinery Directive, Low Voltage, EMC) - Use of software for thermodynamic simulations - Excellent mastery of Excel (pivot tables, search functions, and databases) - Competencies in costing and DC applications - Fluent knowledge of the English language Demonstrate analysis and organization capabilities, transforming requests into structured solutions and planning activities, resources, and times effectively.
