Application Engineer (m/w/d) - Image Processing & Robotics

We are Vision4Quality GmbH, a young and rapidly growing software company specializing in the development of camera-based inspection systems. Tasks

As Application Engineer, you will work at the interface between software development, image processing, and robotics. You will develop practical solutions and bring innovative technologies directly into customer projects.

Your tasks include:

• Development and implementation of demo applications in the field of image processing and robotics
• Software development with a focus on object-oriented programming
• Design and technical implementation of customer-specific projects
• Integration and commissioning of our solutions at the customer's site
• Support for tests, optimization, and further development of existing applications
• Closely working with development, sales, and project management

Depending on the project, part of your task may take place at the customer's site (service assignments for integration and commissioning).

Qualification

• Degree in Technical Informatics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a comparable field
• First practical experience in object-oriented programming (e.g. C++, C#, Python or Java)
• Techincal understanding in the field of automation, robotics or image processing
• Self-motivated and structured working style
• Hands-on mentality and joy in practically implementing solutions
• Travel readiness for occasional customer assignments
