Application Engineer - Centurion based

You will be joining the Technical Sales department, whose main focus is to support our Sales representatives with all technical aspects regarding our products. Our Head Office in Centurion will be the base where you work from together with traveling to client sites and back… **Minimum Requirements** * Grade 12 * National Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering * Minimum of 3 years’ experience in the pump industry * Experience with pump selection software * Experience in the mining industry is advantageous * Computer literate (Microsoft Office) * Valid driver’s license * Own vehicle **Key Responsibilities** * Provide technical support to sales representatives * Assist with the selection of pumps * Prepare technical quotations * Customer visits and provide technical support * Liaise with clients * Prepare and present technical presentations to clients and internal staff * Review client specifications and drawings * Provide feedback to engineering and production on product improvements * Prepare pump curves and hydraulic calculations * Ensure accurate and timeous submissions of quotations * Maintain and develop customer relationships * Travel to various sites nationally and internationally **Benefits** * Competitive salary * Provident Fund * Medical Aid * Fuel Allowance
