Application Development Lead, Assistant Vice President, State Street Investment Management Miejsce pracy: Kraków Technologies we use Expected Java Python AWS About the project State Street Investment Management (formerly State Street Global Advisors) is seeking an Application Development Lead, AVP to join the Global Funds Management (GFM) Engineering team within the Chief Operating Officer (COO) organization. This is a hands-on technical leadership role with responsibility for application architecture and development, as well as mentoring and guiding junior developers. The successful candidate will be expected to lead by example, demonstrating expertise in software development methodologies, such as Agile, and proficiency in programming languages like Java and Python. Additionally, the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, including business stakeholders, is essential. Key responsibilities include: • Designing, developing, testing, and deploying applications using Java, Python, or other relevant technologies; • Collaborating with developers, QA engineers, and technical leads to ensure successful project delivery; • Mentoring junior developers and providing guidance on software development best practices; • Staying up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, and applying this knowledge to improve processes and products.
