Job Summary:
The Application Developer will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining the infrastructure required for data extraction, transformation, and loading. This role involves creating and documenting new technical tool components for a Disaster Recovery Program, ensuring these tools support the program's evolving needs. The developer will also be responsible for optimizing data delivery, automating manual processes, and building analytics tools to provide actionable insights. Location:Canada, Remote Responsibilities:
- Design and build infrastructure for optimal data extraction, transformation, and loading from various data sources using Informatica, SQL, SSIS, API, and other technologies.
- Architect relational and multi-dimensional databases using techniques like star and snowflake schemas, ETL, SCD, and Fact and Cube development.
- Identify, design, and implement internal process improvements, including automating manual processes and re-designing data pipelines.
- Build analytics tools to provide actionable insights into customer acquisition, operational efficiencies, and other key business performance metrics.
- Develop, maintain, optimize, troubleshoot, debug, monitor, backup, and perform recovery operations for the ETL environment.
- Analyze datasets to ensure compliance with data sharing agreements and legislation restrictions.
- Mentor, support, and train Information Analyst and Junior Data Management resources, as required. Required Skills & Certifications: Preferred Skills & Certifications: Special Considerations: Scheduling:
