Salary: £74,000 executive benefits What you’ll be doing: Lead application domain strategy for the Air Sector, setting the vision and roadmap for application solutions within a specific business domain or area Oversee the Application Portfolio Management (APM) activities, ensuring alignment with sector goals and objectives. Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and prioritize applications that meet business needs, and develop a comprehensive portfolio of applications that support the Air Sector’s strategic objectives. Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including application owners, IT teams, and business leaders. Provide technical guidance and expertise to ensure effective use of technology in meeting business requirements. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, applying this knowledge to drive innovation and improvement within the Air Sector. What we’re looking for: A highly experienced Application Architect with a strong track record of delivering complex application solutions. You will have a deep understanding of application architecture principles, patterns, and best practices. Experience in leading or contributing to large-scale application development projects is essential. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are required, as well as the ability to work effectively across multiple stakeholder groups. A degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field is typically required.
