Eurofins Food, Feed & Water offers laboratory research, consultancy and inspection services in the field of food, animal feed and water and consists of 11 locations. Job description

As Applicatiebeheerder, you play a crucial role within our IT Food Benelux department. You ensure that applications and systems within our organization function optimally. You bridge the gap between Business and IT, and do this together with a team of ambitious - and we say it ourselves - quite nice and funny colleagues!

You manage, maintain and optimize business applications. Think for example of our LIMS (Laboratory Information Management System). Not to put you under pressure directly, but this system is one of the most important applications for business results. In collaboration with internal stakeholders and external suppliers, you ensure that the LIMS, but also other applications, perfectly align with the needs of the organization. So, you are constantly looking for improvement opportunities and support the implementations to bring your innovative solutions to life.

Responsibilities:

• Maintaining the quality system within the applications and taking corrective measures
• Managing and maintaining the core application LIMS (Laboratory Information Management System)
• Ensuring the stability and functionality of the used applications and systems
• Identifying, analyzing and translating business needs into IT solutions
• Maintaining contact and collaborating with the various IT departments within Eurofins (national and international)
• Becoming involved in various small and large projects

Job requirements

You have a strong analytical ability, are inventive and solution-oriented. You have a result-driven attitude and can communicate clearly and empathetically. You have the drive and ambition to further develop yourself and go for the challenge in a dynamic environment.

Furthermore:

• You have completed a relevant HBO education
• You have some years of experience as an applicatiebeheerder
• You can translate the needs of the organization into IT solutions
• You speak and write both Dutch and English
