What you will do

As an Application Developer, you ensure that our Master Data Management system (Stibo STEP) runs at full capacity. Why is that so important? This platform is the source of all our product data and ensures that information is reliable, available, and up-to-date for all our channels, from Supply Chain and E-commerce to our stores. You will develop, manage, and improve the system and resolve incidents at lightning speed. Do you have ambitions to take on Scrum Master tasks? Then there are certainly opportunities for that. We like to look together at what suits you and the team.

What will you do in the role of Application Developer?

• Develop. Not just our application, but yourself too, of course. As a developer, you will work on developing, specifying, implementing, and integrating new functionalities in STEP. This way, you ensure that our data management runs smoothly. You will also regularly work on connections with external systems via APIs.
• Manage. You ensure that the application and processes continue to run smoothly. This way, our article master data is always available, secure, reliable, and up-to-date for everyone who works with it. Think of Data & Analytics, Supply Chain, E-commerce, and of course our stores.
• Incident Management. Something not working as it should? You dive right in, get to the bottom of it, and solve it. At the same time, you think ahead: how can we prevent this in the future? This keeps everything running and makes the system a little better each time.
• Improve. MDM is the backbone of all our data. Thanks to your work, we ensure that customers always see the correct information, both online and in the store. That makes their experience a lot better, and that's what we do it for.

This is what you get in return

• A good salary! You start between € 5,000 and € 7,000 gross per month, depending on your experience, for a full-time workweek of 40 hours. If your experience doesn't fully match what we're asking for, you may start in a different salary scale.

This is you

• You have at least 5+ years of experience as a developer. We don't need to explain to you how to develop software and what techniques exist. You know that better than we do ;) If you don't have those years of experience yet, but do have the right technical skills? We'd still love to hear from you.
• You have knowledge of Javascript. Also have some experience with Stibo STEP? Great! We'd love to get in touch with you.
• You have knowledge of XSLT/XML. It's very useful when you work with a program where tons of data run through based on feeds.
• Not required, but with Java or Python in your skillset, you make a difference.
• You are analytical and solution-oriented. No question or problem is too crazy, you always come up with a solution.
