Build the interface for the AI future – Deep-Tech instead of simple API wrappers!

We are Neurapix GmbH, a highly specialized Deep-Tech startup from Göttingen. With our high-end AI, we are revolutionizing photography worldwide and are already reaching 90% of our target group via Adobe Lightroom through our Smart Presets. We are growing organically through technological excellence (“Cutting Edge”) – with us, code is not just support, but the core product.

To solve our development bottleneck, we are looking for a key player who brings our AI aesthetically and “snappy” to the desktop.

Tasks

• Deep-Tech instead of simple frontends: You develop complex desktop features with Python and PySide/Qt.
• Performance optimization: You make our desktop application exactly as fast as our AI calculates.
• UX Design: You translate mathematical ideas into a fluid, aesthetic, and intuitive user interface.
• Architecture & Ownership: You proactively eliminate bottlenecks and significantly shape our software architecture.

Qualification

• You are a technical generalist and master Python in your sleep.
• You have a great passion for frontend and UX – you know exactly how to make software responsive and “snappy” (ideally experience with PySide/Qt).
• You prefer to tinker with real algorithms instead of putting together simple API wrappers.
• You work independently, are results-oriented, and appreciate a professional, but relaxed atmosphere.
