App Developer (m/w/d)

parq parking develops intelligent, camera-based parking and traffic systems for cities, companies, and private areas. Our mobile applications support control personnel, operators, and service teams in recording parking events, documenting violations, and managing parking spaces in real-time.

To strengthen our team, we are looking for an App Developer (m/w/d) who develops and maintains high-performance and user-friendly mobile apps for Android and/or iOS.

Tasks

You develop and maintain our mobile applications for parking space control, area management, and data collection in the field.

You set up robust and high-performance app functions for image capture, license plate recognition, location data, and event recording, as well as offline storage with later synchronization.

You integrate REST APIs and real-time interfaces to our backend platform and ensure reliable data transfer even with weak network coverage.

The optimization of apps regarding performance, battery life, memory usage, and user-friendliness is part of your task area.

You also integrate camera functions, GPS data, push notifications, and role-based user interfaces for different user groups.

You accompany the entire development process from conception to testing and deployment to ongoing maintenance.

Qualification

You hold a completed education in the field of application-oriented computer science, media informatics, or a comparable technical qualification.

You have practical experience in developing mobile applications with technologies like Flutter, React Native, Kotlin, or Swift.

You are familiar with handling mobile platform APIs (camera, GPS, storage, network) as part of your daily work.

You possess experience in binding to REST APIs and implementing offline-first approaches and synchronization mechanisms.

Knowledge of processing image data or integrating camera workflows is an advantage.

You pay attention to high-performance, stable, and user-friendly applications in productive use.

You are familiar with Git, build, and release processes (App Store / Play Store).
