The Apotheker-Eigenaar position at BENU Houdeng-Goegnies is a stimulating opportunity for you! We are seeking an experienced professional for a full-time contract for an indefinite period (CDI), replacing our pharmacist-owner who will be retiring.

Your tasks and responsibilities as Head Pharmacist

As Head Pharmacist at BENU Houdeng-Goegnies, you are ultimately responsible for the daily operations and quality of service. You will find yourself in a large pharmacy with a strong team consisting of 5 assistant pharmacists and 4 pharmacy assistants. Your main tasks include:

• Ensuring optimal service to patients by meeting their needs and binding them to the pharmacy, thereby developing the activity. Our patient base is stable, supplemented by passers-by due to our strategic location near the highway exit.
• Complying with all rules and procedures governing the pharmacy and keeping your permanent training up-to-date to meet the demands of public health.
• Providing, planning, organizing, and controlling activities within the pharmacy to achieve the set economic targets for growth and profitability.
• Efficiently managing inventory to guarantee maximum service with a responsible investment.
• Complying with procedures between the pharmacy and various central services to optimize support and contribute to an integrated and coherent business operation.
• Informing the Area Manager about all relevant points regarding the pharmacy.
• Actively participating in BUM (Medication Review), vaccination, and medication review services.
• The pharmacy's opening hours are from Monday to Friday from 8:30 am to 6:30 pm and on Saturday from 8:30 am to 12:30 pm.

Sought Profile and Qualifications

• You hold a master's degree in pharmaceutical sciences and are proud of your expertise.
• You possess a valid RIZIV number and are registered with the Order of Pharmacists, which confirms your competence and legal status as a pharmacist.
• You communicate fluently and have a natural empathy to understand and respond to our customers' needs.
• You have in-depth knowledge of products sold in the pharmaceutical sector, allowing you to provide expert advice.
• You have relevant experience in the pharmaceutical sector, making you familiar with the specific challenges and requirements of the profession.
• You are a true team player, dynamic, and flexible, and actively contribute to a pleasant work environment.
• You have a critical and solution-oriented mindset to improve the pharmacy.
