Hiring: Python Pytest API Automation Specialist (Remote, Contract) TechVallunar is looking for a skilled API Test Automation Engineer to join our remote team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys designing clean, maintainable automated tests and understands how to test APIs in a realistic, production-oriented way. This is not a UI automation role. Job Requirements As an API Test Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated tests for APIs using Pytest and Python. You will work closely with our development teams to ensure that our APIs are thoroughly tested and meet the required quality standards. Key Responsibilities: Design and develop automated tests for APIs using Pytest and Python Collaborate with development teams to identify test requirements Develop and maintain a suite of automated tests for APIs Ensure high-quality, reliable, and efficient testing processes Identify and report defects in API functionality Participate in code reviews and contribute to the improvement of testing practices Job Requirements: 5+ years of experience in API Test Automation using Pytest and Python Strong understanding of API testing concepts and best practices Experience with designing and developing automated tests for APIs using Pytest and Python Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail Ability to work independently and as part of a team Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and version control systems (e.g., Git) Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field Certifications: None required but desirable Benefits: Competitive compensation package Flexible working hours and remote work options Opportunities for professional growth and development Collaborative and dynamic work environment
