AP/AR Operations Manager (m/f/d)

Manage our Accounting Operations and further develop our Finance processes for the next phase of growth.

Black Semiconductor is growing and developing its Finance organization for the next phase of growth. For this, we need stable accounting processes, efficient workflows, and a team that reliably manages our operational day-to-day business – at our HQ in Aachen and across our international companies.

In this role, you will take operational responsibility for Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable and ensure that invoicing and payment processes run smoothly. Especially at the beginning, you will actively work in the day-to-day business yourself and ensure that the operational workflows function reliably. At the same time, you will build up our accounts receivable area – including the associated processes and the introduction of SAP S/4HANA Cloud.

You will combine operational implementation with process design and work closely with our Senior Manager Finance & Accounting. You will have the freedom to take responsibility, drive improvements, and actively shape our Accounting Operations. This also includes further developing digital tools and strategically using AI to make our Finance processes more efficient and reduce manual tasks.

Your Tasks

AP/AR Operations: You will manage and process Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes for our HQ in Aachen and our companies in Germany and the Netherlands. Especially at the beginning, you will actively work in the day-to-day AP business yourself and ensure reliable invoice processing, account reconciliations, and clarification of open items.

Building the Accounts Receivable Area & Process Optimization: You will further build our accounts receivable processes and structures, accompany the introduction of SAP S/4HANA Cloud for AP/AR, and further develop existing workflows with a focus on standardization and scalability.

Team Coordination: You will coordinate our small AP team, prioritize tasks, and, together with the team, ensure smooth operations in the day-to-day business.

Automation & Digitalization: You will identify efficiency potentials, further develop the use of digital tools, and use AI to support and optimize our Finance processes, in order to reduce manual tasks and enable more efficient workflows.

Collaboration & Further Development: You will support our Senior Manager Finance & Accounting with operational and cross-functional Finance topics and actively contribute to the further development of our Accounting Operations.

What you bring

• Several years of experience in Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, or Accounting Operations

• In-depth understanding of invoicing, payment, and P2P processes

• Experience with ERP systems; knowledge of SAP S/4HANA Cloud is a plus

• Initial leadership experience or experience in the technical guidance and coordination of employees

• Digital competence and interest in using AI and digital tools in everyday work and for the improvement of Finance processes

• Fluent German and English language skills
