APAC Risk Solutions Leader — Delivery & Growth

SAS is seeking a Head of Risk Management Solutions for the Asia Pacific region. This leadership role requires an experienced professional to drive delivery excellence and financial performance while managing a team of approximately 70. You will ensure that solutions align with customer needs and regulatory requirements while building strong relationships with clients. The ideal candidate will have a Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field along with 12-15 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the risk management or financial services industry. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing risk management strategies that align with SAS’ overall business objectives. This includes identifying and mitigating risks associated with new product development, market trends, and regulatory changes. You will also work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure effective communication and collaboration across the organization. The successful candidate will have a strong track record of driving growth and delivering results in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of professionalism and integrity. Key responsibilities include: • Developing and implementing risk management strategies that align with SAS’ overall business objectives; • Identifying and mitigating risks associated with new product development, market trends, and regulatory changes; • Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to ensure effective communication and collaboration across the organization; • Building strong relationships with clients and stakeholders to understand their needs and expectations; • Managing a team of approximately 70 professionals to drive delivery excellence and financial performance; • Ensuring that solutions align with customer needs and regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will have: • A Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as risk management, finance, accounting, or business administration; • At least 12-15 years of experience in a similar role within the risk management or financial services industry; • Strong leadership and management skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team; • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders; • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and mitigate risks; • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines.
