DevOps Application Developer - Interfaces & Automation (m/w/d)

DEFINET offers a comprehensive service for financial advisory firms. With around 70 employees at our Eschborn & Hannover locations, we take over all backoffice topics related to sales support, processing, and IT for our customers.

We offer our partners a holistic product portfolio: insurance, investments, financing, real estate, assets, and more. Our highly qualified experts support financial advisors completely independently.

Tasks

• Development, operation, and further development of interfaces, backend services, and integration solutions
• Conceptualization and implementation of automation processes to optimize business and IT processes, including data and post-processing
• Use and further development of low-code/integration platforms
• Bonding internal and external systems via REST/soap interfaces
• Development and maintenance of workflows, services, and data models
• Error analysis, troubleshooting, and performance optimization of existing integrations
• Closely working with departmental teams, IT operations, and external partners
• Documented interfaces, processes, and technical solutions
• Participation in a DevOps-oriented environment (automation, CI/CD, operation)

Qualification

• Completed studies in computer science, business informatics or equivalent training
• Multiple years of experience in application development or system integration
• Very good knowledge in the development and use of APIs (REST, SOAP)
• Experience with integration-, workflow- or BPM-platforms
• Good knowledge in at least one programming language, e.g.: Java, C#, JavaScript, PHP
• Desirable experience with frontend frameworks (e.g. React)
• Safe handling of data formats and protocols (JSON, XML, HTTP)
• Knowledge in databases (SQL, relational data models)
• Understanding of DevOps principles, automation, and operational processes
• Experience with container-, cloud- or CI/CD-environments is advantageous
• Analytical, structured working style and advanced problem-solving skills
• Very good German and good English knowledge
