Application Manager / Application Support Campus Management Systems (m/f/d)

Do you want to help shape the digitalization of universities? At GECKO, you will support universities in the use of their campus management systems. You understand our customers' requirements, know the possibilities of the application, and can communicate technical and functional contexts understandably. This also includes configuring software modules and independently implementing agreed-upon tasks.

Your Responsibilities

• You actively contribute to the digitalization of universities

• You analyze new requirements, identify optimization potentials, and develop suitable solution proposals and specifications

• You configure software modules and implement agreed-upon work packages and individual requirements within the application

• You include data, workflows, interfaces, and the underlying technical infrastructure in your considerations

• You use standardized tools and processes, including SQL with PostgreSQL and JavaScript

• You support our customers in ongoing operations, assist with questions, and ensure reliable support

• You conduct on-site consultations and training and support users in effectively utilizing their systems

Your Qualifications

• IT affinity and interest in the interplay of applications, data, and technical processes

• High willingness to learn and the ability to independently familiarize yourself with new systems and subject matters

• Ability to grasp, structure, and communicate complex issues understandably

• Strong self-organization, independent action, and a solution-oriented approach to work

• Fluent German language skills

• Advantageous: Experience with application configuration, SQL, PostgreSQL, or JavaScript
