We are FinMent - a rapidly growing, twice state-certified FinTech startup in Berlin. We democratize access to institutional investment knowledge and strategies, previously only available to institutional investors (Family Offices) with +200 million euros minimum capital.

Tasks

What Awaits You

You will be involved in developing and implementing features for finance and investment topics.

• Market Analysis and Software Development: You analyze securities and the market to create investment ideas for our software architecture and support the trading and development team.
• Product Development: You are involved in the entire development process of our financial platform, developing innovative features around stock trading and financial independence.
• Innovative Investment Systems: You support and develop independently in a dynamic startup environment the next generation of intelligent investment systems for private investors.
• Process Optimization: You analyze and optimize internal processes, systems, and algorithms to continuously improve efficiency, performance, and quality of our platform.
• Agile Collaboration: You shape as a member of an agile team the Scrum process actively from planning to retro with.

We invest in your individual training, promote targeted development, and make you step-by-step an expert – with the clear goal of long-term cooperation.

Qualification

What You Should Bring

You have a high performance readiness, thirst for knowledge about financial topics, and want to develop yourself personally into a specialist in the finance sector.

• Experience: You have 6 months to 1 year of practical experience in customer support and development, ideally through internships or similar activities.
• Tech-Stack: You know the fundamental technologies like JavaScript, React.js, Node.js, WordPress, HTML5, CSS. You have a precise and detail-oriented working style.
• Startup Responsibility: You have taken on responsibility for your area of expertise, even if it was outside your comfort zone. You are result-oriented and quickly implement things.
• Personal Growth: You learn and develop yourself eagerly, whether in your job, sector you work in, but also privately! You seek proactive feedback. While keeping the team's success in mind.
• Language: Your German is ideally on C1 level. Your English is good for conversations.
