Job description

You ensure that our energy technology systems run reliably and efficiently. In this role, you take responsibility for the safe operation of systems, coordinate maintenance and repair work, and are available to our customers in case of technical disturbances. You will work both independently on our systems and closely with external specialist companies and service providers.

Your Task
  • Operate energy technology systems reliably: You take on system responsibility and system service for our heat, cold, and power generation systems. This includes, among other things, combined heat and power (CHP) plants, heat pumps, refrigeration systems, and the associated distribution systems.
  • Ensure maintenance and upkeep: You organize and carry out maintenance, repair, and servicing work, check the functionality of our technical systems, and optimize their operation. This also includes test runs of emergency power generators and adjustment work on building service connections.
  • Keep system safety and quality in view: You perform function tests on technical system components and auxiliary equipment and inspect, among other things, boiler rooms, escape routes, and air ducts. You ensure that necessary measures and inspections are reliably implemented.
  • Coordinate external partners: You organize and manage external experts and service providers, such as measurement and meter service providers or chimney sweeps, and keep an eye on the adherence to relevant deadlines.
  • Take responsibility for documentation and customer service: You read meter readings, maintain and control system documentation, and track warranty defects. In case of disturbances, you are the point of contact for our customers and, together with all parties involved, ensure a quick and reliable solution.
Your Profile
  • Technical competence: You have a technical or engine technology vocational training and ideally a suitable additional qualification, for example in the field of refrigeration technology.
  • Experience with energy technology systems: You have practical knowledge in the maintenance, repair, and servicing of technical systems. Experience with CHP plants, heat pumps, refrigeration systems, or comparable systems is an advantage.
  • Sense of responsibility and organization: You work independently and reliably, make decisions, and maintain an overview even with multiple parallel tasks. You are adept at coordinating external partners and consistently adhering to deadlines.
  • Communication and team spirit: You present yourself confidently, communicate openly and solution-oriented, and enjoy working with colleagues, customers, and external partners. You remain capable of action and find pragmatic solutions even in disturbance situations.
  • Flexibility and commitment: You are willing to participate in on-call duty. For your daily work, you have a driver's license class B/BE and are proficient with PC, smartphone, and tablet.

As we are a learning organization, we welcome your application even if you do not meet all the requirements 100%.

*With our open and appreciative corporate culture, we welcome all people. Because we are convinced that diversity enriches us – whether in origin, gender, age, lifestyles, talents, abilities, and limitations.
