Brazil Tax Manager

Job Responsibilities: Daily Tax Operation Management: Responsible for the daily tax operations in Brazil, including e-commerce platform invoice verification, SKU tax rate confirmation, issuing invoices externally, etc., to ensure tax compliance. Financial and Tax Closing Processing: Responsible for monthly/quarterly/annual tax closing and general ledger closing, ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of accounting. Tax Declaration and Communication: Coordinate local Brazilian tax declaration work, maintain good communication with tax authorities and accounting firms. Tax Risk Management: Identify and assess tax risks, propose compliance recommendations, and assist in developing tax optimization plans. Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Collaborate closely with finance, legal, and business departments to support business development while ensuring tax compliance. Job Requirements: Background Requirements: More than 3 years of local Brazilian tax or finance work experience. Bachelor's degree or above, preferably in accounting, finance, or tax-related majors. Familiar with Brazilian tax regulations and accounting standards (such as ICMS, IPI, PIS/COFINS, etc.) Hard Skills: Tax Professional Knowledge: Proficient in Brazilian tax laws (ICMS, IPI, PIS/COFINS, etc.), familiar with the tax treatment of the e-commerce industry. Accounting Practice Ability: Skilled in general ledger accounting, financial closing processes, and have experience using ERP systems (SAP/Oracle preferred). Invoice Management: Familiar with the Brazilian electronic invoice system (NF-e), able to independently complete invoice issuance, verification, and management.
