Android Developer (m/w/x) Infotainment

Project Description:

To support our team at our automotive industry customer, we are looking for an Android Developer (m/w/x) Infotainment to be hired on a permanent basis by K-tronik. Sounds interesting? Then we look forward to your application!

Tasks:

• You will develop the next generation of infotainment software based on Android in close collaboration with our automotive customers
• Android development in a large project, where you can delve deep into the Android platform
• Code quality is important to us - therefore, our developers rely on code reviews, pull requests, unit tests, and TDD
• Modern and fast infrastructure, including Git and Jenkins, allows for an uninterrupted development flow and prompt feedback through rapid build times
• You will test your software not only on a PC but also in one of our Audi or Porsche test vehicles
• You will work closely with colleagues (m/w/d) from development, testing, and product owner in your agile team

Qualifications:

• You have good knowledge of the Android platform, the Android SDK, Android design guidelines, Kotlin, and Jetpack Compose
• Passion for Android and automotive software
• Experience with concepts such as clean code, SOLID, reactive extensions, or dependency injection is advantageous
• Very good computer science knowledge, experience with a programming language like Java, C#, or Python, and a good understanding of programming in general (OOP, unit tests), preferably also a university degree (e.g., computer science)
• Your very good German and English skills in writing and speaking will ensure that you use them in your daily work
