Android Developer with JS/React

We are looking for a dedicated and skilled Android Developer with expertise in Kotlin to join our team.

This role provides the opportunity to work closely with stakeholders, influence technical decisions, and shape how clients interact with real-time data-driven sales reports.

Kindly note that this role supports remote work, but only from within Ukraine.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Android applications using Kotlin
• Work with stakeholders to gather, decompose, and estimate requirements, and create straightforward delivery timelines
• Analyze and extract requirements directly from existing source code
• Ensure applications maintain high performance, quality, and responsiveness
• Communicate effectively to explain solutions and resolve technical challenges
• Engage in technical decisions and approaches to enhance the mobile ticketing platform
• Build real-time Android applications that connect with backend services, including sockets

Requirements

• Expertise in Kotlin, with experience in multiplatform development
• Familiarity with general web development and JavaScript (JS)
• Background in gathering, decomposing, estimating, and documenting requirements into manageable timelines
• Capability to analyze and interpret requirements from source code
• Flexibility to overlap working hours with Los Angeles stakeholders at least twice a week
• Proficiency in English (B2+) for clear communication regarding solutions and challenges
• Competency to understand, read, or interpret JavaScript/React/React Native code
• Experience building Android apps that interact with backend services in real-time

• Understanding of backend solutions built on message-based architectures like message brokers
