Analytics Engineer - Data & AI (all genders), hybrid
Job description
Tasks
We have grown rapidly, have fantastic products, a real brand and last year we cracked the 10 million turnover mark. Now we want to position the company for the next growth step. For this we need you: You clear up our historically grown system landscape, build a scalable data foundation and take responsibility for our data and AI area. You love clean code and complex datasets as much as the big picture. You want to build structures from the ground up and are not afraid to get hands-on.
- Architecture & Engineering: You build our (new) data warehouse, develop the most important interfaces and bring order to a highly complex business (multiple shops, large retail network, procurement, shop management, performance marketing, product development).
- Process Optimization & Automation: You identify manual bottlenecks, reduce the complexity of our system landscape and automate processes across departments.
- Analytics & Reporting: You perform complex analyses based on our shop and marketing data, build dashboards and ensure that all areas of the company always have the data they need.
- AI Integration: You integrate state-of-the-art, AI-driven systems (e.g. LLMs like Gemini or Claude) into our business processes to give us the decisive efficiency advantage.
- Strategic Interface: You work directly with the management and, as a central hub, ensure that we make sound, data-based decisions throughout the company.
- Change Management: You are a data nerd who doesn't just code for yourself in a quiet room. You take the team with you on the journey in a communicative way, arouse enthusiasm for data and proactively build up the topic with us.
Qualification
- Experience: You have gained 2-3 years of professional experience in the data environment and are ready for the next step, in which you build up topics yourself.
- Education: You have a degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Business Informatics, Industrial Engineering or a comparable field.
- Tech Stack (Must-Haves): You have excellent, proven knowledge of SQL and Python.
- AI & Innovation: You already have practical experience in dealing with and integrating modern AI systems and LLMs (e.g. Gemini, Claude, OpenAI APIs).
- Analytical Depth: You have sound statistical knowledge, above-average analytical skills and simply enjoy recognizing patterns in numbers.
- Entrepreneurial Mindset: You think beyond the code. You have a quick grasp, work extremely solution-oriented and understand the business logic behind the data.
- Hands-on & Proactive: You are flexible, work absolutely independently and enjoy tackling things courageously instead of waiting for ready-made concepts. Team player & communicator: You are friendly, communicative and can explain complex, technical issues to non-IT professionals.
Benefits
- As a welcome gift you will receive a 300€ watch budget - so you can experience our product yourself from day 1!
- Modern office with top equipment - You get everything you need: laptop, screen, headset.
- Flexible working hours, hybrid working models and a pleasant working atmosphere
- Monthly additional benefits: 50€ tax-free benefit + job ticket for employees in Hamburg + e-bike card + fuel card
- Personal development through diverse training opportunities and development opportunities
- Strong team spirit with regular events, attractive employee discounts and real togetherness
