Senior Accountant Standards Analyst M/F

Job description

Location: Brest Within the Crédit Mutuel Arkéa Accounting Department, the Accounting Standards service provides advice and assistance on all accounting and sustainability standards matters for the Group. The Accounting Standards service operates across the group's various businesses (loans, savings, leasing, guarantees, equity and investment funds, insurance), as well as on financial operations (securities operations, hedging derivatives). Its area of expertise covers: - French and IFRS accounting standards, for both banking presentation (PCEC) and industrial and commercial (PCG), depending on the scope concerned, - Sustainability standards (green taxonomy, CSRD directive, European standards (ESRS) and international standards (ISSB)). Its positioning and the nature of its missions favor project-based operation. Join us as a Senior Accountant Standards Analyst and join our team of 5 employees! Your missions: - Monitor developments in accounting regulations: regulatory watch, review of new standards, identification of accounting options, impact assessment, training, validation of accounting schemes, support for the implementation of these developments. - Contribute to the implementation of sustainability standards: Implementation of the European green taxonomy, revision of the non-financial reporting directive (CSRD), European (ESRS) and international (ISSB) standardization of non-financial information. - Provide expertise and advice to determine the accounting treatment of specific operations in connection with the group's new strategic plan Faire 2030: Technical analysis of financial and structural operations, new products, communication of accounting treatment to the various concerned departments, validation of accounting schemes. - Define group rules in terms of applicable accounting principles and financial information formats. - Maintain the group's accounting principles manual and ensure its proper understanding through dedicated training or communications. - Participate in exchanges with statutory auditors. Crédit Mutuel Arkéa is composed of the federations of Crédit Mutuel de Bretagne, Sud-Ouest and their affiliated local branches, as well as about forty specialized subsidiaries for professionals or individuals (Fortuneo, Monext, Arkéa Banque Entreprises et Institutionnels, Arkéa Investment Services, Suravenir). It is a medium-sized group with decision-making centers in the regions and a head office in Brittany near Brest.
