- This position is responsible for performing analytical tests and routine and complex analyses of finished pharmaceutical products or raw materials.
- Follow the training procedure for training and personnel files.
- Execute and perform tests according to methods, following standard operating procedures of the company, control deviation programs and change, as well as cGMP directives.
- Ensure that work order documentation is complete at all levels and that all results are recorded in the Laboratory Notebook.
- Perform daily tasks determined by the supervisor to maintain an efficient workflow to ensure the accomplishment of programmed tasks and respect established deadlines.
- In case of test failure, immediately notify the department head before continuing the test. Assist in investigations into equipment failures as requested. Do not discard any solutions or glassware used during tests.
- Inform the department head and/or group leader as long as possible if assigned work order cannot be completed satisfactorily within the deadline and established quality expectations.
- Perform additional laboratory tasks and periodically inform the department head and/or group leader of progress.
- Ensure that equipment is maintained in good condition, perform calibrations and qualifications as needed, volumetric solutions/tests and mobile phase preparations are verified.
