Analyst, TV and Consumer Electronics

Job Description This role is based in our 43 Residency Road office. Key Responsibilities: As Data Analyst you will support our TV and other consumer device research and will be expected to perform the following duties: Responsible for Omdia's Global TV set and Consumer Electronics research services, including quarterly data reports on vendor sell-in shipment performance. Working closely with global TV analysts to combine primary research findings with secondary data sources to create comprehensive reports. This will involve analyzing and interpreting large datasets, identifying trends and patterns, and presenting findings in a clear and concise manner. Additionally, you will be expected to maintain and update databases, perform data validation and quality control, and provide support to other teams as needed. You will also be responsible for staying up-to-date with industry developments and trends, and for identifying and prioritizing research opportunities. This role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You will be working closely with a team of analysts and researchers to deliver high-quality research products to clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analysis and research, and will be able to demonstrate a high level of proficiency in using data analysis tools and software. You will also need to have a strong understanding of the TV and consumer electronics industries, and be able to demonstrate a high level of enthusiasm and interest in these areas.
