Analyst (m/w/d)

You will contribute significantly to the strategic further development of MIRAI Power as an Analyst (m/w/d). You will develop the foundation for well-founded decisions on new markets, business models, and technologies and support the further development of our business beyond classical BESS projects.

Tasks

• Analyse and development of new business models for the company
• Conducting market and technology analyses
• Building techno-economic models to evaluate new business fields
• Collaboration with Project Development, Engineering, Commercial, and Finance to define and create suitable financial models and evaluation instruments
• Optimization and scenario analyses of existing revenue streams (e.g. system services, day-ahead/intraday markets, capacity markets)
• Support in tendering and bidding processes
• Creation of visualizations, dashboards, reports, and presentations
• Identification of cost and potential savings in projects

Qualification

• Multiple years of professional experience in financial and techno-economic modeling as well as project evaluation (preferably in the field of energy storage or renewable energies)
• Outstanding analytical skills
• Understanding of monetization of energy facilities
• Very good English language skills (Business English)
• Passion for transforming the energy system, as well as experience and expertise in the energy sector
