Analyst IT Business Systems

• Work with or lead teams (formally or informally) and application users to collect and analyze business requirements for projects/programs for applications that leverage expertise.
• Prepare complex requirements specification documents and functional specification documents.
• Review, analyze, and prepare complex and detailed documents for business requirements and technical/functional specifications of business systems and user needs, including workflow, program functions, and steps required to develop or modify computer programs.
• Identify current and future state business processes independently or with the guidance of the longest-serving member of the team.
• Provide technical development support for system development and configuration requirements and automation.
• Use influence to drive better solutions.
• Perform or participate in gap analysis, identify current gaps, and make recommendations for future state business processes
• Foster strong communications between business users and application developers to understand key issues, identify perception gaps, and resolve questions.
• Work with or lead business users to identify functional cases and establish test scenarios and results.
• Work or lead efforts with business users to test, validate, and evaluate new applications and features, and identify functionality issues.
• Participate in or lead projects to evaluate, rate, and select software from third parties, vendors, and/or service providers.
• Contribute to or manage the scope, acceptance, installation, and implementation of the project.
• Participate in or lead the planning of phases for the implementation of applications and systems.
• Contribute to or provide solution architecture guidance and recommendations for systems and processes.
• Adhere to established documentation standards, procedures, and guidelines.
• Provide second tier and third-tier end-user application support on day-to-day calls (Oracle and edge applications), as appropriate
• Maintain and deploy edge finance applications/systems that integrate with Oracle EBS/Oracle Cloud
• Adhere to project schedules, track progress while providing timely reports of issues affecting project progress, coordinate actions, and resolve conflicts. This includes documenting, prioritizing, and tracking requests (changes, improvements, etc.)

Proactively assist with training on Oracle EBS functionality or Finance business process.
