Analyst

Analyst will be reporting to the Head of Portfolio Management and will be responsible for preparing and maintaining financial models for projects mainly in the pipeline and sporadically of external opportunities. Analyst will provide expected profitability figures of the single assets and will be instrumental in:

• The estimation of project profitability for decision-making purposes
• Evaluation of the pipeline for strategic planning and reporting
• Recommendations on Project definition: technical solution, offtake selection and/or preferred financing structure.

Key Challenges

• Adapt and maintain financial models to the applicable taxation and regulations of the appropriate geography or to new business models
• Prepare financial models with proposed technical configurations from the appropriate teams to support on the optimal project definition
• Prepare financial models with different lending and/of offtake agreement proposals
• Report the expected profitability at the asset level
• Prepare sensitivity analysis for investment proposals
• Prepare and maintain input sheets and track supporting documentation
• Support participation in Bid/Auctions with focus on price recommendation
• Prepare and maintain documentation for financial modelling and reporting processes
• Improve the usability and robustness of existing financial models
• Review financing/offtake term sheets
• Lead external model audits
• Review the financial section of the due diligence.
