Business Analyst for Custodian Function System Implementation

Tasks that await you: * Co-creation and execution of a system replacement project supporting the custodian function for investment funds. * Analysis, definition, and prioritization of business requirements, and collaboration with business stakeholders, IT, and system vendors. * Control of the valuation process for investment funds for which the bank acts as custodian. * Verification of the correctness of asset valuations and participation in fund account reconciliation processes. * Preparation, updating, and maintenance of project and operational documentation. * Development and modification of tools supporting operational processes, including VBA-based solutions. * Preparation of test scenarios, execution of business tests (UAT), and support for solution acceptance. * Participation in data migration, data structure mapping, and data quality control. * Management and monitoring of tickets in Jira. * Support for production deployment, preparation of go-live checklists, and participation in system stabilization post-launch. * Supervision of the delivered solution's compliance with business requirements and handling of project changes. * Collaboration with areas responsible for fund accounting, custody, transfer agent, reporting, and valuation systems. You will be a good fit for this role if: * You have experience as a Business Analyst, System Analyst, or Investment Fund Valuation Specialist. * You have participated in implementation or migration projects, especially related to investment funds, fund accounting, or the custodian function. * You have a good understanding of banking, capital markets, asset management, custody, fund administration, or post-trade processes. * You have practical experience in gathering and documenting business requirements and process modeling. * You have participated in user acceptance testing (UAT) and acceptance processes. * You understand complex data flows and integrations between systems. * You can effectively communicate with both business and IT teams. * You work independently, proactively, and organize your work well in a dynamic environment. * You can manage multiple tasks simultaneously and adapt to changing priorities. * You have advanced Polish language skills and English language skills at a minimum of B2 level. * Experience in custodian services or investment fund accounting [nice to have]. * Knowledge of custodian duties, particularly investment limit control, asset monitoring, reconciliations, and fund valuation confirmations. * Participation in data migration projects [nice to have]. * Knowledge of communication and reporting standards used in the capital market (e.g., SWIFT MT940, transfer agent reports, transaction confirmations) [nice to have]. * Collaboration with system vendors for custodians or investment funds [nice to have]. * Knowledge of VBA and experience in developing tools supporting operational processes [nice to have].
