Join the team of one of the leaders in the banking sector in Poland and develop systems responsible for processing and settling payments in the Polish and European markets!

We are looking for an experienced person for the position of Senior Business and System Analyst who will participate in the development and maintenance of key clearing systems used in banking.

This is a role for someone who has a good understanding of banking processes, can translate business requirements into system solutions, and is comfortable with integration, data modeling, and process design.

You will collaborate with business and technology teams, having a real impact on the development of payment systems and the quality of delivered solutions.

Work model: hybrid – Warsaw, only 2 meetings at the office per month, remaining days remotely.

Your Responsibilities

• Development and maintenance of systems responsible for clearing transfers in the Polish and European markets.
• Acquisition, analysis, and documentation of business requirements and their translation into system requirements.
• Preparation of functional and quality specifications for IT systems.
• Modeling of business processes, data structures, and integrations between systems.
• Collaboration with IT teams, business, and stakeholders in the design and implementation of solutions.
• Acting as a Proxy Product Owner in the payments area, supporting requirement definition and coordinating development work.
• Change management and ensuring the quality, timeliness, and consistency of analytical documentation.
• Verification of the compliance of implemented solutions with the prepared specification.
• Preparation of test scenarios and participation in ensuring the quality of delivered functionalities.

Our Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience in IT projects carried out for the banking or financial sector.
• Practical knowledge of methods for acquiring, analyzing, and documenting business and system requirements.
• Experience in preparing functional and non-functional specifications.
• Ability to model business processes, data models, and system integrations.
• Knowledge of relational databases and basic SQL.
• Ability to analyze complex business-technical issues, draw conclusions, and propose solutions.
• Experience in collaborating with development teams, testers, and business representatives.
• Very good communication skills, independence, and teamwork ability.
• Knowledge of English at a minimum B2 level.

Nice to have

• Experience in developing clearing and payment systems such as Elixir, Express Elixir, Sorbet, SEPA, TARGET.
• Knowledge of system architecture and integration concepts, including Event-Driven Architecture, Enterprise Integration Patterns (EIP), microservices, and REST API.
• Knowledge of requirement exploration techniques, e.g., Event Storming, Domain Storytelling, User Story Mapping, Example Mapping.
• Knowledge of Domain-Driven Design (DDD) at a strategic level and Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) approach.
• Ability to use Git and Diagram as Code and Model as Code techniques.
• Knowledge of test strategy and test automation.
• Basic ability to read source code.
• Experience in using AI tools for automation and optimization of daily analytical work.
