Job description

Mission:

Analyze, control, and ensure the correct execution of the company's accounting operations, guaranteeing the reliability of financial information, regulatory compliance, and key support for accounting closings and audits.


Responsibilities:


  • Compliance and control:

- Support for internal and external audits.

- Compliance with accounting standards (NIF / IFRS) and internal controls.

  • Maintain control of investment projects according to budget and execute their closure as appropriate.
  • Coordinate with Maintenance teams for physical control, rotation, and evaluation of the sufficiency of provisions for spare parts obsolescence, along with the control of transfers of those that are capitalizable.
  • Ensure the correct recording and accounting treatment of minor and major preventive maintenance. That these are created by an automatic internal tool (in the case of major maintenance) and approved according to budget.
  • Periodic review of the financial fixed asset ledger (statutory and IFRS) and tax ledger, ensure the correct assignment of useful lives, cost centers, location.


Education

Bachelor's degree in Public Accounting, Finance, or a related field.


Experience

  • 3 to 5 years in general accounting, fixed assets, or accounting closing areas.
  • Experience in financial statement analysis and complex reconciliations.


Technical Knowledge

  • Mexican accounting standards (NIF).
  • IFRS (desirable).
  • Basic tax legislation.
  • Financial ERP (SAP, Oracle, or similar).
  • Advanced Excel.
  • Preparation and interpretation of financial statements.
