Sr Back Office Analyst

About the position

Ensure the recording, control, and accounting reconciliation of investment operations carried out by the SIEFORE, guaranteeing that the financial information accurately reflects the portfolio transactions, in compliance with the provisions of the National Commission of the Savings System for Retirement.

Responsibilities:

● Supervise and validate debt, capital, and IFD market operations, ensuring the timely and accurate recording of operations agreed upon by the Investment area and confirmed by Middle Office in the Back Office interfaces.

● Consolidate and validate accounting entries derived from worker movements in the Soluciones system, ensuring their proper accounting and correct integration into the net asset and share price of the SIEFORES.

● Supervise the quality, veracity, and consistency of the recorded operations through the automation of internal processes, ensuring regulatory compliance and the integrity of financial information.

● Generate and reconcile daily valuation and collateral records against the account statement of clearing members, to ensure correct daily settlement amounts and required margin levels.

● Determine the correct integration of the net asset and the share price of Basic SIEFORES through the processing of investment operations, worker movements, and events of the instruments in position.

● Prepare the Financial Statements of the funds, ensuring the veracity, integrity, and consistency of the information presented, in compliance with applicable accounting and regulatory standards.

Requirements:

● 3 years of experience in money market and derivatives operations, regulatory compliance in accounting records (CONSAR), and presentation of Financial Statements.

● Knowledge of Aladdin System and Soluciones Accounting System.

● Certification in investment matters for Afores and SIEFORES, certification in derivatives, and CFA level 2.

● Knowledge of derivative financial instruments, Mexican Financial Market, and CONSAR regulations.

● Intermediate English (B2).

● Advanced Excel skills (macros), SQL or Python.

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting, or Actuarial Science.
