Acquirer Profitability/Product Analyst

Job description

Purpose


• Contribute to the overall success of the Acquirer Business Directorate by ensuring that objectives, plans, and initiatives are executed with support from business strategies and objectives.

• Ensure the fulfillment of acquirer business goals by effectively managing sales advisors and our partners (Fiserv, …).



Responsibilities


• Knowledge of technical and commercial aspects in payment acceptance solutions such as e-commerce, Pin Pad integrations to proprietary systems, Virtual Terminal, Recurring Charges, Mo-to, IP Terminals, WIFI, GPRS, MPOS.

• Ensure the monitoring of integrations and implementations according to the payment acceptance solutions contracted by business and corporate banking clients.

• Provide technical advisory support for e-commerce integrations through plugins, connect or APIs, etc., as well as Pin Pad integrations to proprietary systems, Virtual Terminal, Recurring Charges, Mo-to, IP Terminals, WIFI, GPRS, MPOS.

• Promote and ensure support in the implementations of card-not-present and card-present.

• Remain in constant training on acquirer products and services versus the market.

• Analysis and preparation of reports regarding progress in the fulfillment of budgets, goals, and objectives by banking sector.

• Provide commercial support to collaborate with the Heads of the different Regions in the follow-up of installations, go-live, activation.

• Provide commercial support to Scotiabank Contact Center and sales executives.

• Implement placement strategies through the mass channel (SME).

• Implement onboarding and activation strategies for mass channel merchants (SME).

• Monitor the use and low billing of clients with acquiring.

• Attend to and follow up on Post-sale issues and/or incidents reported by SME, Business, and Corporate banking.

• Attend to and follow up on affiliation processes outside of SLAs.

• Provide support in tools, processes, and inputs to facilitate sales channels.

• Implement improvements in the end-to-end acquirer sales and post-sales process.

• Monitor the process of collecting files.

• Validate the correct functioning of the commercial model for the achievement of sales objectives.

• Identify areas of opportunity and deviations in the commercial model to propose action plans.

• Follow up on the pipeline through the mass channel (SME) to ensure and guarantee customer billing and retention.

• Lead, coordinate, and train executives from SME, Business, and Corporate banking on card-present and card-not-present payment solutions to achieve sales objectives.



Requirements


• At least 3 years of experience in Acquirer Business / Bank Cards / Payment Methods

• Knowledge of the PROSA ecosystem in Acquirer and Clearing House roles.

• Knowledge of CID (Domestic Interchange Contract)

• Knowledge of SAC (reports)

• Knowledge of SIA (clarifications and disputes)

• Knowledge of ACT (merchant administration)

• Knowledge of MSI (Months without Interest)

• Knowledge of LACPI procedures (interoperability guidelines)

• Knowledge of Visa, Mastercard, and AMEX operational regulations

• Knowledge of Visa, Mastercard, and AMEX International Clearing & Settlement

• Project management experience

• Leadership, teamwork

• Analytical and organizational skills

• Problem-solving

• Interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills

• Work with cross-functional teams

• High level of English, spoken and written

• Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Computer Science, or related field.
