KYC – AML Analyst

We are looking for professionals in fraud analysis (KYC/AML) to join a new team in the legal department of a major Dutch bank based in Madrid. The selected person will be responsible for conducting Know Your Customer (KYC), Customer Due Diligence (CDD), onboarding reviews, and remediation activities, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and the bank's risk appetite. This position requires a high level of analysis, attention to detail, and ability to work in high-volume and demanding environments.

Responsibilities

• Perform KYC and CDD verifications for new and existing clients according to regulatory requirements and internal policies.
• Analyze documentation, property structures, and risk indicators to determine risk profiles.
• Manage onboarding reviews for clients categorized as medium-risk.
• Support remediation activities for inherited and recently incorporated files, ensuring total compliance.
• Detect missing information, inconsistencies, or warning signs and escalate cases as necessary.
• Collaborate with internal teams to gather necessary documentation and ensure the progress of each case.
• Maintain precise and updated records, ready for audit.

Requirements

• Prior experience as a KYC/CDD Analyst in mid-level or senior roles.
• Solid knowledge of AML, KYC, CDD, and applicable regulatory frameworks in the EU and Spain.
• Experience managing client cases with medium risk.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to make data-driven decisions.
• Ability to work efficiently in high-volume environments, especially during onboarding and remediation.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Availability to work on-site in Las Rozas (Madrid), five days a week.
