Senior Tax Analyst

Our client is looking for a professional to take on the position of Senior Tax Analyst (Direct Taxes).

• Belo Horizonte – MG

Work Model:

• 100% in-person.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Managing and calculating direct taxes and contributions, such as IRPJ, PIS, and COFINS;

• Ensuring the correct interpretation of legislation and compliance with deadlines and accessory obligations;

• Ensuring tax compliance and acting to mitigate tax risks;

• Serving as a technical reference and point of contact for internal clients on tax matters;

• Supporting strategic tax planning aligned with financial planning;

• Acting as a Key User of SAP HANA for the tax area;

• Participating in projects related to Tax Reform and the implementation of tax solutions;

• Coordinating alignments of processes and procedures with the Shared Services Center (CSC);

• Monitoring changes in legislation and evaluating impacts for the business;

• Leading automation initiatives and continuous improvement of tax processes.

It is extremely important that you have:

• Solid experience with direct taxes, especially IRPJ, including calculation, analysis, and review of computations;

• Mastery of the real profit regime;

• Experience with accessory obligations and tax routines related to direct taxes;

• Experience with SAP, preferably SAP HANA, applied to the tax area;

• Up-to-date knowledge of Tax Reform and its operational and systemic impacts;

• Experience in companies in the construction, engineering, or retail segments will be considered a differential.

Academic Background:

• Graduation in Administration, Accounting Sciences, Economics, Engineering, or related fields;

• Postgraduate degree or MBA will be considered a differential.

Technology:

• Knowledge of Excel and SAP is essential for the position.
