Position: Tax/Fiscal Analyst
São Paulo/Osasco, SP | On-site/
Job Description
We are looking for a Tax/Fiscal Analyst to be responsible for the calculation, control, and compliance of the company's fiscal and tax obligations, with a special focus on the specifics of the import, rental, and sale of machinery and equipment for civil construction and industrial sectors.
Main Responsibilities
- Calculation of federal, state, and municipal taxes (ICMS, ISS, PIS, COFINS, IRPJ, CSLL, among others)
- Calculation and reconciliation of taxes applicable to import operations (II, IPI, ICMS-Import, among others)
- Issuance and reconciliation of sales and equipment rental invoices
- Preparation and submission of accessory obligations (SPED Fiscal, SPED Contribuições, ECF, DCTF, GIA, among others)
- Monitoring of tax legislation applicable to the goods rental and foreign trade sector
- Support in tax audits and responding to inspections
- Interface with accounting, controlling, and commercial/import departments
- Identification of tax savings opportunities and mitigation of fiscal risks
Requirements
- Completed higher education in Accounting, Law, Administration, or related fields
- Previous experience in the fiscal/tax area, preferably in foreign trade, import, rental, or capital goods companies
- Solid knowledge of Brazilian tax legislation (ICMS, ISS, PIS/COFINS, IRPJ/CSLL)
- Experience with SPED Fiscal and accessory obligations
- Knowledge of taxation on import operations (a plus)
- Proficiency in Excel; knowledge of SAAS/SAP systems (a plus)
- English or Mandarin (a plus, due to communication with the parent company in China)
