- Conduct traffic studies and analyze data to optimize traffic flow and safety.
- Design and apply timing plans for traffic signals and coordination schemes.
- Develop and maintain traffic simulation models using specialized software.
- Evaluate road safety and recommend improvements.
- Collaborate with urban planners and other stakeholders on transportation projects.
- Prepare technical reports and present conclusions to various audiences.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely completion and budget compliance.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest traffic engineering technologies and best practices.
- Provide technical guidance to junior engineers and support staff.
- Responsible for analyzing, documenting, monitoring, and reporting on freight bill payment processes in CASS, PM7, and GLSU. In some cases, also approves/rejects invoices following central processes and guidelines.
- Maintain and monitor the department's traffic account center and serve as the main point of contact for the accounting team regarding traffic reports.
- Support analysis and reporting on budget and transportation forecasting (Business Plan, Current Forecast, monthly cost reports, Istar, provisions).
- Support the traffic team on any topic related to billing and payments.
- Identify, develop, lead, implement, and track projects for improvement and/or cost reduction in logistics.
- Support the implementation of traffic process automation with support departments or develops the concept directly using automation tools.
