Job description
At Repsol México, we are looking for an Analyst for Business Intelligence, Pricing, and Investments to join our team. This role has a key impact on driving business profitability and growth through the optimization of fuel prices and strategic investment analysis, transforming commercial, operational, and financial data into actionable information that supports decision-making, maximizes margins, and ensures the incorporation of sustainable economic value expansion opportunities.
Main Responsibilities
- Administer, clean, and maintain commercial, operational, and financial databases
- Develop executive reports, dashboards, charts, and Power BI dashboards with information on sales, prices, margins, profitability, and commercial performance.
- Perform data queries, cross-references, and validations using SQL
- Automate data extraction, cleaning, transformation, and analysis processes
- Prepare investment proposals
- Plan and coordinate follow-up meetings
- Calculate gross margins, contribution margins, profitability indicators, and sensitivity scenarios
Required Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Actuarial Science, Finance, Data Science, Systems, Applied Mathematics, or related field.
- Minimum of 2 to 3 years of experience in data analysis, Business Intelligence, pricing, commercial intelligence, investments, or financial analysis.
- Advanced proficiency in Power BI, Power Query, DAX, Excel, PowerPoint
- Intermediate-advanced knowledge of SQL and Python
- Advanced command of Excel and PowerPoint for analysis, modeling, executive presentation of results, and proposal development.
- Desirable knowledge of SAP, CAPEX/OPEX, project profitability, payback, NPV, IRR, and financial sensitivity.
