ABOUT THE ROLE:
Responsible for developing and applying advanced fraud detection and prevention models, using data analysis techniques, behavioral assessment, artificial intelligence (AI), and machine learning, with a focus on financial and payment institutions. Acts in identifying atypical patterns and suspicious behaviors to mitigate risks and protect the company's assets and its clients.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop, implement, and monitor predictive fraud models using machine learning and AI.
- Analyze large volumes of transactional and behavioral data to identify risk patterns and anomalies.
- Perform data-driven behavioral assessments to improve fraud prevention and detection models.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate anti-fraud solutions into the company's processes and systems.
- Constantly update knowledge on modern fraud techniques and specific threats in the financial and payment institution market.
- Create dashboards and management reports that support strategic decision-making in security and prevention.
- Participate in internal and external audits related to the fraud prevention area.
- Propose improvements to internal processes to increase the efficiency of anti-fraud policies.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
- Higher education in Statistics, Data Science, Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Economics, or related fields.
- Minimum experience of 4 to 6 years in fraud prevention, preferably in financial institutions or payment companies.
- Solid knowledge in data analysis, statistical modeling, machine learning, and AI applied to fraud prevention.
- Proven experience in data-driven behavioral assessment.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and programming languages (Python, R, SQL, etc.).
- Knowledge of current regulations and standards in the financial and payment methods market (e.g., Central Bank regulations, LGPD).
- Analytical skills, results orientation, and critical thinking.
- Good communication to facilitate interface between technical and business areas.
DIFFERENTIALS:
- Specific experience in payment institutions, such as Edenred or similar.
- Certifications in information security, fraud analysis, or data science.
- Familiarity with specific anti-fraud platforms and tools.
